If you’ve been diving into the beautiful roads of Japan in Forza Horizon 6, there’s a good chance you’ve got your eyes on one of the coolest retro race cars in the game: the 1983 Nissan #11 Tomica Skyline Turbo Super Silhouette. With its wild, boxy widebody kit and legendary motorsport history, it’s an absolute showstopper.

But if you look for it in the Autoshow, you won't find it. This beast is locked away as a classic Barn Find.

Hunting it down isn’t quite as simple as just driving out to the woods, though. The game forces you to earn the rumor first. Here is the exact, no-nonsense guide on how to get this legendary Nissan into your garage.

Step 1: Grind to the "Master Explorer" Rank

You can drive around the right area all day, but the barn rumor simply will not trigger until you’ve put some serious work into the campaign.

Check your progress: Open up your campaign menu and take a look under the Collector's Journal.

Earn points: Keep knocking out story missions, road races, and various regional activities across the map.

Hit the magic number: You need to reach Level 7: Master Explorer and officially secure the Gold Stamp in the "Discover Japan" collection journal.

Once you hit that milestone, Horizon’s radio host will finally give you the heads-up about a legendary race car hidden away in a barn.

Step 2: Track Down the Barn in the Ito Region

With the massive purple rumor circle now active on your world map, make your way over to the scenic Ito region.

To pinpoint the exact location without wasting an hour driving through trees, use these landmarks:

The Reference Points: Look for the Kitayama Big Daisugi landmark—the barn is located just south of it. Alternatively, map out a route right above the Yahikoyama Curve Speed Trap.

The Hidden Trail: Look closely at the main paved road in this area. You’re searching for a small, distinct, teardrop-shaped dirt path that branches off the asphalt.

The Barn: Follow this winding dirt trail down through the dense trees, and it will lead you straight into a clearing where the hidden barn sits.

Step 3: Wait Out the Restoration (Or Pay Up)

Once the cutscene plays and you officially "find" the car, you'll see it’s in pretty rough shape. The Horizon crew will haul it away to get it fully restored. From here, you have two choices:

The Impatient Route: If you have an absolute mountain of in-game credits burning a hole in your virtual pocket, you can pay a massive fee to bypass the wait time and unlock it instantly.

The Patient Route: Just keep playing the game. Go run some races, hit up some drift zones, or explore the map. After a bit of playtime, you’ll get a notification that the restoration is finished, and the car will be added to your garage completely free.
