Forza Horizon 6: Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 Unlock Guide & How to Get (4 อ่าน)

3 มิ.ย. 2569 08:57

If you have started exploring the roads of Japan in Forza Horizon 6, you probably already know that the game is packed with some incredible hidden gems. One of the absolute best early-game rewards you can get your hands on is the legendary 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500.

This classic British touring car icon is tucked away as a Barn Find, meaning you can add it to your garage completely free of charge. Here is a straightforward, step-by-step breakdown of how to trigger the rumor, where to find the barn, and what to expect once you restore it.

Step 1: How to Unlock the Barn Rumor

You cannot just drive straight to the barn right after the intro sequence. First, you need to trigger the rumor by climbing up the campaign ranks. Luckily, this one is available very early on.

Check Your Progress: Open up your campaign menu and check the Collector's Journal. You need to level up your "Discover Japan" rank.

Hit Tier 2 (Tourist): The barn rumor triggers the exact moment you reach Campaign Level 2, which is the Tourist tier.

How to get Fast Points: If you want to speed things up, don't just drive aimlessly. Focus on knocking out the yellow-marked Story Missions, jump into Touge and Road Races, smash regional mascots, or buy your first player house. Doing these will net you the XP and Campaign Points needed to clear Level 2 in no time.

Once you hit the Tourist tier, a large blue rumor circle will pop up on your map, indicating the general area where the car is hidden.

Step 2: Finding the Exact Barn Location

The rumor circle gives you a general zone, but the forest can be tricky to navigate. To save yourself some driving in circles, head down to the southern region of the map.

The Region: The barn is located right on the border separating Tokyo City and the southern edge of the Ito region.

The Starting Point: Look for the main crossroads intersection sitting right next to a dense patch of forest.

The Route: From the intersection, follow the main asphalt road heading northeast. Keep a close eye on the left-hand side of the road for a break in the trees.

The Hidden Trail: Turn left onto the dirt/ground pathway leading straight into the woods. Follow this trail directly into the thick trees, and you will stumble upon an old shipping container hidden in the brush. That container is your barn.

Step 3: Restoring and Tuning the Car

Pulling up to the container triggers a cutscene revealing the Sierra Cosworth, which looks a bit rough around the edges and is described as "lost in transit."

Before you can take it to the streets, you have to get it ready to drive:

The Wait Time: The car will be sent to your garage for a full restoration. This usually takes about 1 to 2 hours of real-time, in-game play.

Can You Skip It? Yes. If you are impatient, you can pay a Credit (CR) fee to fix it instantly. Honestly, though, it is better to just go run a few races and let the mechanics do their job for free.

Performance Overview: When the car finally unlocks, it comes sitting in C Class. It features incredibly balanced, middle-of-the-road stats right out of the box.

While it might not break records in its stock form, its balanced nature makes it an absolute dream of a platform for custom tuning. It is highly recommended to build this into a dedicated rear-wheel-drive (RWD) track car or a retro Touge cruiser.
